Random Ranting Entry #2

     Dear Readers,
It's me again! Sorry for neglecting this blog. Have I told you that I'm a spontaneous person yet? Well, yes, I am. I was super duper excited to create this blog. Yet, after a day or two of no-viewers, the enthusiasm died. I really considered abandoning this venture. I logged on yesterday and *GASP*! Almost 100 viewers! (It's probably not much compared to the more experienced bloggers, but it's a huge achievement to me xD). Therefore, I shall try to be more consistant with my posts, and write more product reviews. Thanks for your support everyone!
  Until next time,

i.Fairy Jewel Green Circle Contact Lens Review!

So a while back I had a circle-contact-lens haul from Uniqso.com. What are circle lens? They are an Asian phenomenon that have made themselves become known throughout the world within the past few years. As opposed to regular contact lens, circle contact lens are larger in diameter, so they give the eyes a bigger and more defined look. Anyway,  I purchased a few pairs, and will now give you a thorough review of them.
In this post, I will review the i.Fairy Jewel Green Lens.

According to Uniqso.com, here are the specification of these lens:
Base Curve- 8.6mm
Color Tones- 2 tones
Diameter- 16.2mm
Replacement Period- 12 months
Water Content- 55%

I didn't keep the original packaging, so I can only show you what I have for now. This is the case Uniqso sent me, along with the lens.

I love that the outer rim of these lens aren't solid, and that there are little black dots near the inside. When worn, this combination gives the eyes a really natural look.

I decided to take a pic of one eye with the lens, and one without to show you the difference in size.

This is how they look in natural sunlight. Honestly, these pictures do not do these lens any justice at all. The color and pattern is so much more beautiful in real life.

I really think these are the most comfortable lens I have ever worn. I own several other pairs from i.Fairy, and I always feel that burning sensation for the first few minutes I have them on. These fit so well it feels as if I'm not wearing anything at all! Overall, I think that these lens deserve a 10/10! (^_^)

Random Ranting Entry #1

I have always been self-conscious about my weight. My driver's license states that I'm 5'3", but I'm pretty sure I'm somewhere between 5'1 - 5'2. My weight varies from 110 lbs when I'm mega hungry, to about 112 lbs when I'm stuffed. Most people would say that's a healthy weight range. Well, let me give you a little background about myself. I am an Asian teenager that is surrounded by Asian friends and family members that are thin and fit. In short, they have the "good body". Since puberty, I have been gradually gaining weight in unflattering areas of my body (face, stomach, hips, thighs). I struggled with weight loss since I was 14 years old. Through an arduous journey of endless dieting and exercising, I lost almost 20 lbs. Though I now have a healthier body, I am stuck with the left over cellulite. On top of everything, I've developed an "Ulzzang" fetish. What's an Ulzzang you ask? It means "best face" in Korean. I know this sounds really weird, but when I'm bored, I would browse the web and look for pictures of ulzzangs (who are so freaking perfect), and use that as motivation to continue my diet and exercise (so I can get rid of the cellulite). LOL, I just re-read my blabbering post and realized I was EVERYWHERE. How did I get from weight to ulzzang? This blog itself is like my own psychologist, where I can let everything out. Anyway, I think this is long enough for my first "Random Ranting Entry".
Until next time,
V.H. ♥

What Led To The Creation Of This Blog?

I've nurtured the idea of creating a review/ ranting blog for a while now. Finally, I decide to act on it. Personally, I almost always read reviews about products before purchasing them. So I thought, "Why don't I make my own blog to write reviews of the items I purchased? It can be like a giving-back-to-the-community type thing." I also need an outlet to organize my jumbled thoughts and ideas. Hence, the creation of this blog :)
